Ganciclovir‐induced drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms

Abstract: Drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) is a severe cutaneous adverse reaction involving multiorgan failure, with a complex interaction of various drugs, human herpesvirus reactivation and immune abnormalities suggested as the aetiology.
