Cited information on gametogenesis of pink salmon Oncorhynchus gorbuscha Walbaum is summarized. Periods of indifferent development and sex differentiation are considered, development of the testes and ovaries is traced, and the fertility formation is analyzed. Regularities of sex reversion, unique for salmonids, and evolutionarily acquired speciﬁc features of oogenesis associated with a short life cycle are noted.
