Abstract:Emily Ashton (she/her) is an assistant professor of early childhood education in the Faculty of Education at the University of Regina. Emily situates her work in the interdisciplinary field of early childhood studies and thus is able to draw on speculative fiction, Black studies, environmental humanities, and critical feminist theory to think through ideas related to children, childhoods, and climate futurities.
