Obstetrics is a medical science that specializes in the study of pregnancy and childbirth. This includes the process before during and after a woman gives birth. The scope of obstetrics includes, antepartum bleeding, postpartum hemorrhage, preterm pregnancy problems, complications in vaginal delivery, pregnancy with gastrointestinal disorders, hypertension in pregnancy, bleeding in the external and internal genitalia, and other diseases. Abortion was the most common disease group in this study, which was 71.4%. Abortion is the termination of pregnancy before the fetus can live outside the uterus at the age of <20 weeks or weight <500 grams. The incidence of abortion is roughly estimated to be 15-20% and 80% occur in the first trimester. This research is a descriptive study with the research design used is a cross-sectional study conducted in the Obstetrics Inpatient Room at the Cut Meutia Hospital, North Aceh. The study was carried out in June 2021 with a population and sample of all patients in the Obstetric Inpatient Room at the Cut Meutia Hospital, North Aceh in 2020. The variables of this study were types of obstetric diseases based on the size group. Univariate analysis was used to describe the characteristics of the types of obstetric diseases that existed in the Obstetric Inpatient Room at the Cut Meutia Hospital North Aceh in 2020. The patients treated in the Obstetric Inpatient Room at the Cut Meutia Hospital North Aceh in 2020 were 244 patients. The percentage of antepartum bleeding was the highest group of diseases in the Obstetrics Inpatient Room at RSU Cut Meutia in 2020, while post-partum bleeding and bleeding in the external and internal genitalia were the least group of diseases. The second most common disease in the Cut Meutia General Hospital in 2020 was hyperemesis gravidarum, then premature rupture of membranes, followed by retained placenta, blighted ovum and preeclampsia.

Abstract. Fetal distress is a condition where the fetus experiences hypoxia due to lack of oxygen supply. Fetal distress can be caused by induction of labor with oxytocin causing the uterus to contract. This can cause blood perfusion to the placenta decrease. The aim of this study is to the relationship between induced labor and fetal distress at Al-Ihsan Hospital, West Java Province in 2020–2021. This research method uses observational analytic techniques with a case-control approach. The data in this study were secondary, obtained from the medical records of patients at Al-Ihsan Hospital, which consisted of 56 data subjects. The data collection technique uses a consecutive sampling. Data analysis used the Chi-square test. The results of this study indicate the etiology of fetal distress cases caused by prolonged labor (35.7%) and induction of labor (28.6%). Statistical test results showed an association between induced labor and fetal distress (p=0.007) and induced labor had a 5.2 times greater risk of experiencing fetal distress (OR: 5.2; 95% CI: 1.613–16.765). The results of this study indicate that one of the most common causes of fetal distress is oxytocin-induced labour. Abstrak. Gawat janin merupakan kondisi janin yang mengalami hipoksia akibat kekurangan asupan oksigen. Gawat janin dapat disebabkan oleh induksi oksitosin saat persalinan. Oksitosin menyebabkan uterus berkontraksi kuat sehingga berisiko menurunkan perfusi darah ke plasenta. Tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu mengetahui hubungan persalinan induksi dengan gawat janin di RSUD Al-Ihsan Provinsi Jawa Barat tahun 2020–2021. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analitik observasional dengan pendekatan kasus kontrol. Data pada penelitian ini bersifat sekunder yang didapat dari rekam medis pasien RSUD Al-Ihsan yang terdiri atas 56 data subjek. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan concecutive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan etiologi pada kasus gawat janin disebabkan oleh persalinan yang lama (35,7%) dan induksi persalinan (28,6%). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara persalinan induksi dengan kejadian gawat janin (p=0,007) serta persalinan induksi berisiko 5,2 kali lebih besar mengalami gawat janin (OR: 5,2; 95% CI: 1,613–16,765). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penyebab terbanyak pada kejadian gawat janin salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh persalinan yang diinduksi oksitosin.

Abstrak: Rendahnya partispasi ibu hamil dalam kelas antenatal menjadi penyebab kematian bayi sehingga perlu pendekatan personal. Tahun 2021 masih terjadi 3 kematian bayi baru lahir di Desa Tanggilingo sehingga diperlukan upaya pencegahan dengan melakukan yoga secara rutin. Penggunaan aplikasi go-yoga selama kehamilan dapat mencegah gawat janin sehingga tidak terjadi kematian bayi baru lahir. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk mencegah gawat janin melalui penggunaan aplikasi go-yoga pada ibu hamil yang tidak aktif dalam kelas antenatal. Metode pelaksanaan melalui penyuluhan dan pemberian buku untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang gawat janin dan implemmentasi aplikasi go-yoga pada ibu hamil trimester III, pendampingan yoga secara personal selama 3 bulan, pemeriksaan tanda-tanda vital dan detak jantung janin sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan aplikasi go-yoga. Hasilnya 30 ibu hamil mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang gawat janin dari 70% berpengetahuan cukup menjadi 100% berpengetahuan baik. Monitoring dilakukan 3 kali seminggu selama 3 bulan. Luaran kegiatan selama monitoring tidak terjadi kematian bayi baru lahir yang disebabkan oleh gawat janin.Abstract: The low participation of pregnant women in antenatal classes is the cause of infant mortality so a personal approach is needed. In 2021, there are still 3 newborn deaths in Tanggilingo Village, so prevention efforts are needed by doing yoga regularly. The use of the go-yoga application during pregnancy can prevent fetal distress so that newborn death does not occur. The purpose of this activity is to prevent fetal distress through the use of the go-yoga application for pregnant women who are not active in antenatal classes. The implementation method is through counseling and giving books to increase knowledge about fetal distress and implementation of the go-yoga application in third trimester pregnant women, personal yoga assistance for 3 months, examination of vital signs and fetal heart rate before and after using the go-yoga application. As a result, 30 pregnant women experienced an increase in knowledge about fetal distress from 70% sufficient knowledge to 100% good knowledge. Monitoring is carried out 3 times a week for 3 months. The output of activities during monitoring did not occur newborn deaths caused by fetal distress.
