Introduction: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a pandemic infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 that was declared in March 2020. The goal of this study was to see if there was a link between patient characteristics (age, gender) and patient severity with the use of Covid-19 antiviral drugs in Covid-19 patients hospitalized at Rumah Sakit Ichsan Medical Center Bintaro between July and December 2021. Methods: Through retrospective data tracing, this study employed an analytical observational method with a cross sectional design. The research data was gathered from Covid-19’s medical records. With purposive sampling, the number of respondents as a sample reached 107 patients. Results: The results showed that the age range of most Covid-19 patients was 26–45 years old by 46.7%, males were more exposed to Covid-19 by 52.3%, the highest degree of severity was included in the mild category, namely 62.6%, and the highest use of antiviral was favipiravir at 70.1%. The analysis revealed that there was no significant relationship between age (p value = 0.346) and gender (p value = 0.387) with the use of Covid-19 antiviral drugs, but there was a significant relationship between patient everity and antiviral drug use (p value = 0.005). Conclusion: Finally, there is no significant relationship between age and gender with the use of Covid-19 antiviral drugs, while between the severity of patients there is a significant relationship with the use of Covid-19 antiviral drugs.

Abstract. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is a disease caused by the Dengue virus and transmitted by the Aedes Aegypti mosquito. The World Health Organization (WHO) says that this disease generally occurs in areas such as Southeast Asia and the West Pacific. WHO noted that there was an increase in the incidence of dengue fever in Southeast Asia by around 46% from 451,442 cases to 658,301 cases, while the death rate decreased by 2%, namely from 1,584 to 1,555 cases. This study aims to determine the characteristics of adult dengue hemorrhagic fever patients before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive observational study with a cross sectional design with a sample size of 100 people who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Samples were taken using a non-probability sampling technique, namely consecutive sampling, which is a sample selection technique by determining subjects who meet the inclusion criteria and are included in the research for a certain period of time. The results show that ages 20‒39 years are the age group most frequently affected by dengue fever before and during the pandemic and the gender most frequently affected is women. This is because the Aedes aegypti mosquito actively bites during the day, when people are active. There was a decrease in the number of villages affected by dengue fever during the pandemic because some people came from outside the city. It was found that the majority of adult dengue fever patients had fever without bleeding or hepatomegaly and only experienced grade I. This was due to the faster screening process before and during the pandemic so that treatment could be carried out immediately before entering the next degree. Abstrak. Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue adalah suatu penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus Dengue dan ditularkan oleh nyamuk Aedes Aegypti. World Health Organization (WHO) mengatakan bahwa penyakit ini umumnya terjadi pada daerah seperti Asia Tenggara dan Pasifik Barat. WHO mencatat bahwa ada peningkatan angka kejadian DBD di Asia Tenggara sekitar 46% dari 451.442 kasus menjadi 658.301 kasus, sedangkan tingkat kematiannya mengalami penurunan sebanyak 2% yaitu dari 1.584 menjadi 1.555 kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik pasien demam berdarah dengue dewasa sebelum dan selama pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif observasional desain cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 100 orang yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling, yaitu consecutive sampling yang merupakan teknik pemilihan sampel dengan menetapkan subjek yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan dimasukkan dalam penelitian sampai kurun waktu tertentu. Hasil menunjukan bahwa usia 20‒39 tahun merupakan kelompok umur yang paling sering terkena DBD pada masa sebelum dan pada saat pandemi dan jenis kelamin yang paling sering terkena adalah perempuan. Hal ini dikarenakan nyamuk Aedes aegypti aktif menggigit pada siang hari, ketika orang-orang sedang beraktivitas. Terdapat penurunan jumlah desa yang terkena DBD saat pandemi dikarenakan sebagian orang berasal dari luar kota. Didapatkan sebagian besar pasien DBD dewasa mengalami demam tanpa perdarahan ataupun hepatomegali dan hanya mengalami derajat I. Hal ini disebabkan oleh proses skrining lebih cepat pada sebelum dan saat pandemi sehingga dapat dilakukan penanganan segera sebelum memasuki derajat selanjutnya.

Hasil penelitian sebelumnya menunjukan sebagian besar responden yang rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Sawerigading Kota Palopo adalah kelompok pralansia, dengan status gizi sebagian besar normal dan dirawat dengan diagnosis penyakit hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui hubungan status gizi awal dengan riwayat penyakit hipertensi pada kelompok lansia yang rawat inap di RSUD Sawerigading Kota Palopo. Penelitian ini adalah cross sectional study yaitu korelasional dilakukan untuk mencari apakah terdapat hubungan antara variabel status gizi dengan riwayat hipertensi pada lansia yang rawat inap. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder dari laporan harian ahli gizi RSUD Sawerigading Kota Palopo pada tahun 2020. Pemilihan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi sampel yaitu memiliki data hasil pengukuran antropometri, pengukuran tekanan darah atau diagnosa dan berusia ≥ 60 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total responden yang berusia ≥ 60 tahun adalah 195 orang dengan persentase status hipertensi sebagian besar tidak memiliki riwayat hipertensi 122 (62.6%) dan sebagian besar dengan status gizi normal 116 orang (59.5%). Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan kejadian hipertensi pada lansia (p=0.284).
