Abstract:The galvanic corrosion behaviors of Ni-C filled conductive silicon rubber (CSR) with different resistivity coupled to magnesium alloys were investigated in 3.5% sodium chloride solution at different temperatures. Such investigations were carried out by means of electrochemical measurement, weight-loss determination, and surface characterization. The results indicated that the changes of CSRs' resistivity and the temperature of the electrolyte would affect the Tafel slope, cathodic corrosion current, and linear… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
