Gallbladder tuberculosis: Sonographic appearance

Abstract: Tuberculosis of the gallbladder is extremely rare. To date, less than 50 cases have been reported in the world literature.' This is the first report in the literature of ultrasound and computed tomography appearances of gallbladder tuberculosis, with sonographic follow-up showing resolution of the gallbladder lesions after antitubercular chemotherapy.
