Our results displayed that galangin drastically inhibited the phosphorylation of p38, JNK, ERK, and NF-κB p65 in ethanol-addressed mouse colon tissues and Caco-2 cells. Accordingly, we speculate that galangin relieves the ethanol-induced inflammatory response, NLRP3 inflammasome activation, and intestinal barrier dysfunction by inhibiting the NF-κB/MAPK signaling pathway.…”
