Gaining Knowledge from Georeferenced Social Media Data with Visual Analytics

Abstract: Analysis of the collections of geographically referenced posts published in social media, such as Twitter, Flickr, and YouTube, can bring new knowledge about places, geographical objects, and events interesting to people, and about people's mobility behaviours.
