Abstract: BackgroundThe role of inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) is undisputable in the management of chronic asthma. However, the regular or recurrent use of ICS results in suppression of hypothalamic-pituitary–adrenal (HPA) axis, that could be asymptomatic or results in adrenal crisis.
