Abstract: 2530 Macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) is a key mediator of the innate immune system by promoting pro-inflammatory functions, being involved in the pathogenesis of the sepsis, in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, growth and cell differentiation, and in carcinogenesis.
