“…The primary outcome measure was to determine the characteristic anatomical features of the G‐spot, building on previous investigations . The secondary outcome measures were to identify the characteristic histological features of the G‐spot with H&E stain and ancillary immunohistochemical stains and whether H&E staining provides sufficient information to distinguish the G‐spot from the adjacent structures.…”

“…Increasing blood flow within the vaginal wall during the arousal phase of the female sexual response cycle has been well researched and documented . In April 2012, Ostrzenski documented and published historic results relating to the anatomical existence of the G‐spot …”

“…The question of whether the G‐spot does exist has raised controversy ever since it was announced. The long‐lasting lack of profound anatomical, physiological and imaging evidence for its existence has been addressed in recent times in part by the dissectional study of Ostrzenski et al, whose descriptions motivated us as radiologists to investigate their findings with up‐to‐date MRI modalities; a literature research concerning MRI‐based evidence for the existence of the G‐spot yielded no satisfactory results . We were able to identify a morphological entity in our MRI exams with a consistent and reproducible signal quality in T1‐ and T2‐weighted sequences in the majority (>60%) of patients that was correlated with the descriptive anatomical measurements of Ostrzenski et al…”

“…I'm greatly appreciative of the comments on my recently published article in the Journal of Sexual Medicine [1]. The authors of the comments suggested that my anatomical dissection on the fresh cadaver to establish the existence of the G‐spot is at best “ he has identified a possible anatomical constituent of whatever is ‘the G‐spot’—a still scientifically unresolved issue.…”
