Fuzzy Systems-as-a-Service in Cloud Computing

Abstract: Fuzzy systems have become widely accepted and applied in a host of domains such as control, electronics or mechanics. The software for construction of these systems has traditionally been exploited from tools, platforms and languages run on-premise computing infrastructure. On the other hand, rise and ubiquity of the cloud computing model has brought a revolutionary way for computing services deployment. The boost of cloud services is leading towards increasingly specific service offering just as data mining a… Show more

“…It is a collection of classes and methods for precedent set and associated parameter estimations of a Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy system from data with the Simpful library. Royon et al [24] proposed a cloud-based scheme based on semantic technology for service-oriented FLSs, namely fsschema. The proposal sought to accomplish three objectives: a detailed specification of cloud services for fuzzy systems based on semantic technology, service configuration, and model utilization in cloud platforms for integrating with other services.…”

“…A proposal on developing a fuzzy-as-a-service system. Their proposal consisted of three major objectives: a description of cloud services for fuzzy systems using semantic technologies, the composition of services, and the exploitation of cloud computing model in cloud platforms for integration with other services [9].…”

“…The idea of developing fuzzy systems as a service on the cloud has been recently introduced in [8], [9]. A study on cloud-based service-oriented architecture for fuzzy logic systems for human activity recognition was conducted by [10]- [12].…”

“…The term is usually used to define data centers accessible to consumers over the Internet. The service models of cloud computing [1]- [10] are platform as a service (PaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and software as a service (SaaS) [8], [9]. Hence any user they like to use the above-mentioned services can avail the services after paying the service coast but user always enjoys the uninterrupted services without facing the difficulty of maintaining the same.…”
