Fuzzy Region Merging using Fuzzy Similarity Measurement on Image Segmentation

Abstract: Some image's regions have unbalance information, such as blurred contour, shade, and uneven brightness. Those regions are called as ambiguous regions. Ambiguous region cause problem during region merging process in interactive image segmentation because that region has double information, both as object and background. We proposed a new region merging strategy using fuzzy similarity measurement for image segmentation. The proposed method has four steps; the first step is initial segmentation using mean-shift a… Show more

“…It made some important investigations on the uncovering of target multi-shading data. In this article also described in, Fuzzy Region Merging using Fuzzy Similarity Measurement on Image Segmentation [9]. In particular, some new involutions were displayed on shading highlight show, zone weighted projection, and following window figuring.…”

“…The control model is made out of the Fuzzy controller and conservatory controller, which are associated with a sort of canny control switch given augmentation set. The yield computation of the Fuzzy [11] controller depends on the measuring segment of expansion set. It is constructed just upon the known great field and restriction field and does not require gave numerical models and if control structure data.…”

“…Thus, automatic image segmentation that could separate a particular type of coral reef species from other is sought. Image segmentation is one of the vital process that involves the partitioning an image into non-overlapping differing regions with identical attributesthat have homogenous features or have the common characteristics [2][3][4][5]. Image segmentation is a critical process in many image processing applications such as shape recognition, object detection and optical character recognition [6,7].The primary goal of segmentation is to make the image more simple and [8].…”
