Fuzzy logic power system stabilizer in multimachine stability studies

Abstract: Power System Stabilizers (PSS) work well at the particular network configuration and steady state conditions for which they were designed. Once conditions change the performance degrades. This can be overcome by an intelligent nonlinear PSS based on fuzzy logc.
