Fuzzy Logic Based Control and Simulation Analysis for Nonlinear Structure

Abstract: The response of structures deforms into their inelastic range during intense ground shaking and exhibits nonlinear behavior, and as a whole, there is no systematic and effective means for nonlinear structure control. In this paper, the active control is applied to the nonlinear structure through the adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control strategy to eliminate the damage of structure and then we introduce the design of a fuzzy sliding mode controller and an adaptation law. The simulation is made on a three-story s… Show more

“…Maria et al (2016) proposed an active vibration control for a two-storey flexible structure where the sliding mode controller is designed utilizing the linear–quadratic regulator (LQR) approach in order to validate stable motion during sliding. An approach related to adaptive fuzzy sliding mode in order to eliminate the damage of a nonlinear structure was suggested by Dai (2010). A sliding mode observer is applied to reconstruct the state and estimate the faults of a sensor and an actuator (Yin et al, 2017a).…”
