The concept of intuitionistic fuzzy sets is the generalization of the concept of fuzzy sets. The theory of intuitionistic fuzzy sets is well suited to dealing with vagueness. Recently, intuitionistic fuzzy sets have been used to build soft decision making models that can accommodate imprecise information, and two solution concepts about the intuitionistic fuzzy core and the consensus winner for group decision-making have also been developed by other researchers using intuitionistic fuzzy sets. However, it seems that there is little investigation on multicriteria and/or group decision making using intuitionistic fuzzy sets with multiple criteria being explicitly taken into account. In this paper, multiattribute decision making using intuitionistic fuzzy sets is investigated, in which multiple criteria are explicitly considered, several linear programming models are constructed to generate optimal weights for attributes, and the corresponding decision-making methods have also been proposed. Feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are illustrated using a numerical example.

When dealing with vagueness, there are situations when there is insufficient information available, making it impossible to satisfactorily evaluate membership. The intuitionistic fuzzy set theory is more suitable than fuzzy sets to deal with such problem. In 1996, Atanassov proposed the mapping from intuitionistic fuzzy sets to fuzzy sets. Furthermore, intuitionistic fuzzy sets are isomorphic to interval valued fuzzy sets, and interval valued fuzzy sets are regarded as the special cases of type-2 fuzzy sets in recently studies. However, their discussions are not only hardly comprehending but also lacking the reliable applications. In this study, the advantage of type-2 fuzzy sets is employed, and the switching relation between type-2 fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy sets is defined axiomatically. The switching results are applied to show the usefulness of the proposed method in pattern recognition and medical diagnosis reasoning.

Abstract:The paper aspires to discuss the basic properties of connected spaces. Also the concept of types of intuitionistic fuzzy πgβ-connected and disconnected in intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces are introduced and studied. The research paper of topological properties is introducedby making the idea of being connected. It turns out to be easier to think about the property that is the negation of connectedness, namely the property of disconnectedness and separable. Also the concepts of intuitionistic fuzzy πgβC 5 -connectedness, intuitionistic fuzzy πgβC S -connectedness, intuitionistic fuzzy πgβC M -connectedness, intuitionistic fuzzy πgβ-strongly connectedness, intuitionistic fuzzyπ β-super connectedness and obtain several properties and some characterizations concerning connectedness in these spaces are explored.
