We have designed and synthesized two new novel thenilbased ionic small molecules, namely, ThBzPy and ThTiPy, for the fabrication of nondoped light-emitting electrochemical cells (LECs). These luminogens possess excellent thermal stability. Although both luminogens exhibited similar photophysical properties, ThTiPy showed better results in the fabricated devices. They have shown ultrapure green emission with CIE coordinates (0.21, 0.65) and (0.19, 0.70) with electroluminescence peaks at 521 and 526 nm for ThBzPy and ThTiPy, respectively. The fabricated devices marked brightness values of 2307 and 2479 cd/m 2 , current efficiencies of 3.37 and 3.71 cd/A, and power efficiencies of 3.47 and 3.81 lm/W for ThBzPy and ThTiPy, respectively.
