Fungemia by Wickerhamomyces anomalus—A Narrative Review

Abstract: Wickerhamomyces anomalus has been previously classified as Hansenula anomala, Pichia anomala, and Candida pelliculosa and was recently reclassified in the genus Wickerhamomyces after phylogenetic analysis of its genetic sequence.
