Fungal endophytes of stems and roots of Juncus trifidus ssp. trifidus from Poland
Andrzej Chlebicki
Abstract:Paraconiothyrium, Aureobasidium pullulans, Clonostachys rosea, Oidiodendron griseum, Penicillium miczynskii, Alternaria chartarum, Trichoderma viridescens, Umbelopsis autotrophica and Hyaloscypha finlandica have been isolated from the roots of the highland rush (Juncus trifidus L.) from Babia Gora Massif and the Tatra Mts. in the Western Carpathians. Only the Paraconiothyrium sp. was found both in roots and stems and thus can possibly be transferred from the roots to the leaves (or in opposite direction).
