Abstract: Doxorubicin (DOX) is an effective anti-cancer anthracyclines chemotherapy drug with its potentially life-threatening cardiotoxicity severely limiting its clinical application. Mitochondrial damage-induced cardiomyocyte death is considered an essential cue for DOX cardiotoxicity.
