A simplified model of a rubber flow (as an anomalously viscous liquid) in the channel of a screw drier is analyzed for calculation of the heating temperature of the material. Satisfactory correlation is obtained between computed and experimental data. It is established that use of the model of an adiabatic flow regime of an anomalously viscous liquid for the operation of a screw drier will make it possible to retain the initial structure and physicomechanical properties of the rubbers during their processing.
