Fundamental gap in fundamental biology

Abstract: The article raises the problems of intracellular spatial and temporal organization of metabolism, signaling, and energy supply of these processes. To provide cell functions, the enzymes of metabolic chains, molecules of signaling pathways, and macroergs (as units of molecular interactions, accompanied by energy consumption) should find their partners and get their precise spatial relationship. The current views are based on ideas of compartmentalization of all processes as local sites of cellular matrix membra… Show more

“…The more characteristics that can be evaluated and fully described, the more features there are to analyse: here is their vector. And as there are more and more new findings and characteristics every year, presumably this analytical process could be virtually endless [ 118 ]. For example, another one-gene screening of WJ-MSCs has been performed by Mechiche Alami et al [ 119 ].…”

“…These were followed by a generalizing monograph -«Our «Shagreen leather» is our problem. We have to solve it ourselves» [34]. Later these ideas were experimentally developed and theoreti-cally improved [35][36][37].…”
