Abstract: With a view to potentiometric sensing with minimal calibration requirements and high long-term stability, colloidimprinted mesoporous (CIM) carbon was functionalized by the covalent attachment of a cobalt redox buffer and used as a new solid contact for ion-selective electrodes (ISEs).
