“…31 The weak peaks at 711 and 761 cm −1 indicated the coordination relationship between Fe and O. 33 The peak that appeared at 1440 cm −1 was evidence of the bending vibration of -OH, and the wide peak at 1080 cm −1 acted for the vibrations of benzene rings. The FT-IR spectrum of ferrocene was relatively simple; the obvious peak located at 1641 cm −1 was attributed to the symmetric spreading of the Fe−O−C angle, and the wide peak of 1080 cm −1 could be caused by vibrations of benzene rings.…”

“…Therefore, the initial concentrations of 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 mg L –1 for Cr(VI) and 5, 10, 20, 30, and 40 mg L –1 for imidacloprid were used for the adsorption isotherm. The common isotherm models, including Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models, were used to investigate the mechanism of removal of Cr(VI) and imidacloprid and are defined in eqs and , respectively. where C e is the equilibrium concentration, q e is the amount of Cr(VI) and imidacloprid adsorbed by Fc 2 -MIL-100(Fe) at equilibrium, Q 0 is the maximum adsorption capacity of Fc 2 -MIL-100(Fe), b is the Langmuir constant, K F is the Freundlich constant, and n is related to the energetic heterogeneity. The slope and intercept of C e / q e versus C e were used to calculate the values of Langmuir constants Q 0 and b .…”

“…After that, a new peak (C-OH stretching vibration at 1386 cm −1 ) was observed in the spectrum of OACT (Figure 6(Ad)), indicating that TWL combined successfully with OATP/CaO [19]. As shown in Figure 6(Ae), OACT@ASO possessed the characteristic peaks (C-N stretching vibration at 1035 cm −1 , N-H bending vibration at 1604 cm −1 , and N-H stretching vibration at 3200-3600 cm −1 ) [24,31]. These results illustrated that OACT was coated successfully by ASO and -NH 2 existed on the surface of OACT@ASO.…”
