Abstract: <p>Alive plants and soil microorganisms are the influential sources of extracellular enzymes facilitating decomposition of polymeric organic compounds. Enzyme activities are especially intensive and spatially heterogeneous in the rhizosphere, where microorganisms are stimulated by rhizodeposition.
