Functional spreading of hyperexcitability induced by human and synthetic intracellular Aβ oligomers

Abstract: Background: Intracellular amyloid-beta oligomers (iAβo) accumulation and neuronal hyperexcitability are two crucial events at early stages of Alzheimer's disease (AD).
