“…In continuing attempts to enhance the transportability of DTPMP SI into the target zone in the formation, Zhang et al reported the synthesis of DTPMP-polyamine containing SiO 2 NPs, which afforded the scale inhibitor nanoparticle capsule (SINC) as a delivery vehicle for oilfield mineral scale control. 129 SINC utilized SiO 2 with an average size of 22 nm as the building blocks and poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAH) with a molecular weight of 70 000 g mol −1 as the template (Figure 13). The synthesis temperature was determined to greatly impact the physicochemical properties of the synthesized SINCs, as well as the agglomeration rate.…”

“…Scale inhibitor nanoparticle capsule (SINC) was prepared in a laboratory setting to address the issue of transporting in consolidated formation core material (Zhang et al, 2016f). The previously introduced SINMs and RMNF are transportable in crushed formation materials including calcite and sandstone (Zhang et al, 2016b,c,d;Franco-Aguirre et al, 2018).…”
