Functional polymorphisms in the MED13L and SLC4A7 genes are associated with pregnancy-induced hypertension

Abstract: Background: Pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH), including gestational hypertension (GH) and preeclampsia (PE), might share pathophysiologic mechanisms and genetic risk factors with hypertension.
