Surgical intervention for severe manifestations of RA of the hip most commonly consists of implantation of a cementless total hip arthroplasty (THA) [6]. Most current literature supports the use of cementless THA as use of cementless components has shown great outcomes when compared to cemented components [7]. Common surgical challenges faced in patients undergoing THA for RA are poor bone quality and the presence of instability [1,4,8]. Current literature highlights osseous erosions and synovial pannus
