Functional Outcome Estimation of Calcaneum Fractures Treated by Open Reduction and Internal Fixation with Plate and Screws in A Tertiary Centre: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study
Abstract:Introduction: Calcaneum fractures constitute about 60% of all tarsal bone fractures. Intra-articularfractures account for 70% of all calcaneal fractures. There are controversies regarding the operativetreatment of calcaneum fractures. Therefore this study aimed to estimate the functional outcomes ofcalcaneum fractures treated by open reduction and internal fixation with plate and screws.
