Functional Characterization of Fish Sialidases and Their Diversity among Different Orders

Abstract: Sialidase catalyzes the removal of sialic acids from glycoconjugates. While the physiological functions of mammalian sialidases have been elucidated, sialidases in other vertebrates, including those in fish, are not well understood.
