Functional anatomy of the peripheral olfactory system of the african lungfish Protopterus annectens owen: Development of the primary olfactory pathway during postembryonic growth

Abstract: Seven specimens of the African lungfish ranging in size from 4 to 350 gm were used for the study of changes in the olfactory nerve and bulb during postembryonic growth as expressed by the increasing number of lamellae of the olfactory organ.
