Abstract: Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) is a rare disease that commonly affects the skin and bones and is found mostly in children. Gastrointestinal (GI) involvement in adults is rare and is diagnosed during a routine colonoscopy from the biopsy of polypoid lesions. The pathophysiology of LCH is unclear.
