Abstract:A 17-year-old boy presented with a full-thickness macular hole, with 20/20 vision with eccentric fixation in the left eye. Examination of the left eye showed a large macular hole with a base diameter measuring 1,680 μm and temporal macular and mid-peripheral retinal atrophy on ultra-high-definition optical coherence tomography (OCT) scans.
