Present-day development of information technologies is making deeper and deeper incursions into all spheres of human activity, both social and economic. It is only natural that they greatly influence the educational industry, changing the approaches, methods and forms of education. Currently e-learning and distance technologies are being actively introduced into both academic and corporate education, as complementary to traditional forms. The efforts of teachers are aimed at finding effective models of blended learning. All this determines the relevance of the present study. The abstracted article is aimed at developing frameworks of a distance learning model based on the use of modern learning management systems. To obtain thorough and reliable results the authors make use of two research approaches: acmeological and competence-based. They review the features, the scope and use of the existing LMS platforms and work out tools for the development of e-learning system. In addition, they assess the compliance of e-learning tools with the preferences of X, Y and Z generation users. The outcome of the research is the development of a universal competency that can be applied to the study of modern methods and approaches with reference to both academic teaching and learning, and to corporate training. It is quite apparent that pros and cons of the learning management system and its possibilities should be carefully studied and thoughtfully used. The effective e-learning requires constant monitoring of equipment, proper work of host servers and considering user-friendliness of the platforms. This is related to the fact that public educational organizations, including schools, colleges and universities, especially in low developed countries, prefer traditional teaching methods and are slowly moving to innovative models. The research findings can be viewed as a step forward in creating user-friendly and flexible e-learning platforms, suitable for separate users, institutions and businesses. They can be applied for further assessment of existing learning models, especially for the younger generation, and for research and development of new strategies and methods of using learning management systems and platforms.

Modern university education in Russia requires multidimensional changes. One of the main directions is the optimization of the educational environment, in particular the management system. First of all, changes should take place at the level of education managers, who combine the qualities of a teacher, manager and psychologist. This necessity explains the increased requirements for the educational management. On the one hand, an important aspect is the competence of educational managers, on the other hand, we should deal with the system of interaction between managers and other participants of the university educational environment. Only a harmonious combination of these factors allows the university to function at the proper level. The problem of communication management in educational institutions is one of the most significant in the field of higher education. Communication is seen as one of the main resources for the development and growth of any organization. Communication as the process of sharing knowledge and information significantly affects the efficiency of an organization. The challenge of communication management is primarily in the fact that there are no clear criteria for monitoring the communication environment. This fact actualizes the problems of empirical research of communication management in the university education system. The most important dimension of optimization is the improvement of the communication environment, associated with the competence of employees and the system of their interaction. Thus, optimization of the communication environment makes it possible not only to improve management and communication processes, but also has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the university as a whole.

The authors explore the theoretical difficulties of developing the most effective ways to prevent economic crime. The practical significance of the results of the study is based on a thorough analysis of the work of Spanish lawyers. The authors have proposed the most effective and time-tested methods of crime prevention in the economic sector. The initial goal of the study is to provide specific recommendations (based on the experience of criminological theories in Spain) on developing the most effective measures to prevent economic crime. The Spanish doctrine itself believes the current stage of criminological science development to be quite a good opportunity to reconsider some criminological theories on this topic. In particular, the aim of such an approach is mainly to develop specific ways so as to prevent economic crime. The basic postulates of psychological theories, aimed at explaining the etiology of economic crime, are being discussed in the following article, despite the crisis they are currently going through and the criticism towards them for a certain share of their ideologization and their desire to reduce the phenomenon of economic crime to some individual pathological traits of a personality. Sociological theories that have a solid ground, but do not allow us to understand the origins of criminal behavior in the economy at the whole scale, are also being analyzed in this work.
