Frühwarnung in Zeiten von COVID-19

Abstract: Societies are facing the challenge of increasing multiple crisis situations, such as the consequences of global climate change, armed conflicts, or pandemics. Policy makers are challenged to find appropriate answers to questions about how to deal with future threats. In the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, numerous experiences were gained with early warning systems used in this context. Based on these experiences, this article discusses how early warning in the political sphere can be improved in the future.
