Frostbite: An Analysis of Seventy-One Cases

Abstract: Though frostbite is a well-known and serious malady, knowledge of its pathogenesis and of the optimal methods of its management is far from complete. This is due in large part to the paucity of cases coming under the scrutiny of any single group of investigators. The war in Korea in the winter of 1950-1951 resulted in a high incidence of frostbite among our troops.
