Objectives: The size and function of the sinuses are influenced by many factors. For this purpose, we planned to investigate the relationship between frontal osteoma dimensions, localization, and presence of osteoma and frontal sinus size and the rate of surgical intervention. Materials and Methods: After approval of the ethics committee, the archive images of 146 patients with frontal osteoma detected by 27616 paranasal sinus CTs taken between 2014-2019 were retrospectively reviewed. The distance between the most medial and lateral points of the frontal sinus was measured by coronal and horizontal measurements;the distance between the most cephalic and caudal points and the horizontal line drawn to the upper boundary of the orbital distance was measured with reference to the most caudal distance. We investigated whether there was a significant relationship between osteoma size and frontal sinus size and going to surgery. Results: There was no significant difference between the right and left frontal sinus dimensions of the patient and control groups. 86.3% of the osteoma group was found to be stage 1.
