Frontal lobe real-time EEG analysis using machine learning techniques for mental stress detection

Abstract: Stress has become a dangerous health problem in our life, especially in student education journey. Accordingly, previous methods have been conducted to detect mental stress based on biological and biochemical e fects. Moreover, hormones, physiological e fects, and skin temperature have been extensively used for stress detection. However, based on the recent literature, biological, biochemical, and physiological-based methods have shown inconsistent findings, which are initiated due to hormones' instability. Th… Show more

“…TN represents true negatives (FP + TN = total number of negatives). It is the likelihood of a deception being set off, with a positive outcome when the true worth is negative; we can calculate the precision, recall, and f -score [ 35 , 36 , 62 ] using the following: …”

“…Volumetric computer division is a subfield of computer science. Connectomics, the study of brain wiring outlines, has primarily determined mitochondrial cell information, with CNNs for cell limit division being proposed early [ 35 , 36 ]. Furthermore, fruitful methodologies for the division of neurotransmitters, a task similar to mitochondrial division, have been proposed [ 37 , 38 ].…”

“…Moreover, he also introduced the role of Zn-doping in the anticancer activity of Bi2O3 NPs [ 34 ]. Previously, some researchers suggested that ML is suitable for the automatic classification, prediction, and detection of psycho-neurological human behaviors [ 35 , 36 , 37 , 38 , 39 ]. The groups of Lai [ 40 , 41 , 42 , 43 , 44 , 45 , 46 ] and Siddiqui [ 47 , 48 , 49 , 50 ] have also used machine learning models to automatically detect sleep disorders such as bruxism and insomnia based on physiological signals.…”

“…Various ML-based techniques are used for disease detection using medical images and signals, e.g., electroencephalogram (EEG) [19], electrocardiogram (ECG), and electromyography (EMG) [20]. For example, the authors of [21] introduced a ML-based decision assistance scheme for the prediction of diabetes, while the authors of [22] used various ML-based techniques for cancer detection.…”
