Following our interest in the hydrothermal syntheses of novel CPs or MOFs by using aromatic carboxylic acid ligands based on a pyridine core, 11 b ,12 we synthesized one new ligand bearing both pyridyl and carboxyl coordination groups, namely 4-(2-chloroimidazo[1,2- a ]pyridin-3-yl)-[2,4′-bipyridine]-6-carboxylic acid (HL).
