From whence cometh their strength: Social support, coping, and well-being of Black women professionals.

Abstract: In the workplace, Black women encounter different job demands than their White counterparts and often experience less control. Demand-control theory offers a framework to examine the challenges Black women face as well as how factors such as coping strategies and social support can moderate levels of well-being.
