From the Lung to the Breast:a Young Lady in Distress ' a Case Report and Literature Review

Abstract: Metastases to the breast from non-mammary malignant neoplasm are relatively rare. We report a case of metastatic disease to the breast from a primary lung adenocarcinoma in a young 22-year-old lady. Computed tomography of the thorax confirmed right upper lobe mass with multiple lung nodules and a breast lump. The diagnosis of breast metastasis was confirmed by fine needle aspiration cytology of the breast lump with histopathological findings and immunohistochemical features consistent with lung adenocarcinoma.… Show more
