From the History of Space Research in Ukraine. 2. Іnternational Cooperation in Peaceful Space Research and Exploration (1957—1987)

Abstract: The article covers a special period of time, from the epochal event of 1957, the launch of the first artificial Earth satellite in the USSR, to the last most successful space project «Vega», carried out under the «Intercosmos» program in 1986. The problems of international cooperation in space exploration and development are highlighted. Information about other space projects of this period and the memories of eyewitnesses of these events are given
