In the era of disruption, myriads of digital entrepreneur in Indonesia still faces significant problems due to the demographical disadvantage and the lack of government policies that can overcome the problem faced. This series of problems has resulted to the existence of digital inequality. This study aimed to explains the digital inequality in Indonesia that has an impact on the inequality of opportunities and challenges for digital entrepreneurs. Qualitative approach to case studies in Indonesia. Informants were taken from 3 regions in Indonesia as well as government representatives responsible for the development of information and communication technology. Data was collected through in-depth interviews online and data was processed with the help of NVivo12. The study was conducted for 6 months. The results of this research will certainly have implications for the development of technology research, digitalization and communication as well as business. If the problem of digital inequality is resolved, digital business development in Indonesia will be more competitive. However, the biggest implication can certainly be a recommendation for information and communication technology development policies in Indonesia, such as the policy of building base transceiver station (BTS) in areas where there is no internet connectivity.

Covid-19 salgını dünyada ve ülkemizde birçok alanda köklü değişimlerin ortaya çıkmasına neden olmuştur. Salgın, ekonomik faaliyetler, iş ve çalışma hayatı, aile içi ilişkiler, eğitim süreci ve medya kullanımı gibi birçok alanı derinden etkilemiştir. Bu araştırmada, salgının etkisini önemli biçimde hissettirdiği tüketim pratiklerine odaklanılmaktadır. Araştırma, Covid-19 salgını sürecinde orta sınıfa mensup bireylerin tüketim pratiklerinde ortaya çıkan değişimleri ortaya çıkarmayı ve anlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Nitel araştırma yönteminden faydalanılarak, orta sınıfa mensup 15’i Nevşehir, 5’i Eskişehir’den olmak üzere toplam 20 katılımcıdan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler aracılığıyla veriler elde edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda; salgının etkisiyle orta sınıfa mensup bireylerin tüketim pratiklerinde çeşitli değişimlerin yaşandığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Salgın sürecinde alınan önlemlerden dolayı; hijyen, temizlik, takviye gıda ve vitamin ürünlerinin kullanımı artmış, giyim harcamaları azalmış, nakit para yerini temassız kredi kartına, dışarıda yeme-içme yerini “evde yemek”e bırakmış, tatil planları ve özel gün kutlamaları ertelenmiş, hediye alma ve verme ritüelleri değişmiş, sanal kültürel tüketim (sanal tiyatro, sinema, sanal sergi vb.), sanal market harcamaları ve online TV abonelikleri çoğalmıştır. Ayrıca kişisel bakım hizmetleri satın alınan bir hizmet türü olmaktan çıkarak evde karşılanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu dönemde özellikle medya ve iletişim teknolojilerinin, tüketim pratiklerine damgasını vurduğu tespit edilmiştir.
