From bedside to bench: lung ultrasound for the assessment of pulmonary edema in animal models

Abstract: Traditionally, the lung has been excluded from the ultrasound organ repertoire and, hence, the application of lung ultrasound (LUS) was largely limited to a few enthusiastic clinicians.
