Abstract: BackgroundEarly diagnosis and treatment of aortitis are important to prevent possible serious complications such us aneurysm, aneurismal ruptured or aortic dissection. Aortitis may present with non-specific symptoms. Positron emission tomography (PET) is useful in diagnosing aortitis.
