Frequency stabilization of an internal-mirror He-Ne laser using axial-mode beat

Abstract: A frequency stabilization of a 633-nm internal-mirror He-Ne laser using the axial-mode beat frequency has been reported. The frequency stability achieved is 2.2 MHz (4.6×10−9) for an averaging time 1 s. The amplitude stability of this stabilized laser is 0.21%.
