Frequency selective diffractive optical element (FSDOE)

Abstract: In this research, a novel hybrid lens consisting of a metallic circular symmetry and a diffractive optical element (DOE), whose combined diffraction distribution is very similar to a single DOE, is proposed as an alternative to a hybrid lens consisting of Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) and a DOE.
