Frequency response of fiber ring resonator and its application in DFB laser wavelength variation measurement

Abstract

In this article, a novel K-shaped dual-band microstrip patch antenna with a shorting pin for dual-band , was designed, fabricated, and tested. The impedance bandwidths were 221 MHz (5.145-5.366 GHz) and 187 MHz (5.695-5.882 GHz), covering the required WLAN bandwidth (5.2/5.8 GHz). The gain obtained from 3.66 to 4.58 dBi matched the wireless LAN specifications. The results demonstrate that the proposed novel K-shaped dual-band microstrip patch antenna with a shorting pin can be applied to dual-band WLAN systems (5.2/5.8 GHz). ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
